Hickory Nut Golf Course offers a scenic 18-hole course that plays at 6,319 yards, six lakes and 11 bunkers that are sure to challenge you. The elevated greens are among the best in the area. Combined with the new mounds, landscaping and over 110 newly planted trees, you’re sure to have an enjoyable golfing experience.
Under the guidance of new ownership, Hickory Nut Golf Course has undergone over $700,000 in renovations. Some of the improvements include:
- Tee to green irrigation
- Four miles of paved cart paths
- Reseeded greens and fairways
- Two new mens' tees
- New ladies' tees
- Driving range
- Two large pavilions with electricity, paved floors and grills
- Clubhouse renovations including new carpeting, extended dining room and air conditioning
- Reconstruction of hole #14 making a challenging par 5
- Newly paved parking lot and roadway
Outings
Our staff works hard to make your outing an enjoyable event. Two large pavilions with grills, concrete floors and electricity will be the perfect place for gathering after your golfing day is complete.

We currently have openings for golf leagues for the 2011 season. If you are interested in scheduling a league, please give us a call.

Golf Instruction
We have golf instruction available from beginner to advanced golfers. Whether you are just starting out or you want to improve your existing technique, our golf instructor, Lou, offers private or group lessons at very reasonable rates. Please call for further information.
